Journal of Plant Science (ISSN 1726-6858)

Botanica Orientalis (ISSN 1726-6858), Journal of Plant Science, was established in 1998. It is the only one journal of its kind published annually by direct participation of the students in coordination with the teachers of Central Department of Botany, T.U. Its publication started since 1998. In the beginning, it was published periodically as science magazine, newsletter, and wall magazine. As a journal, its first annual issue was published in 1999. Similarly, the second, third, and fourth annual issues have been published in 2001, 2003, and 2004 respectively. Now, its fifth volume is in the process of publication.

Botanica Orientalis focuses on experimental, applied, observational, and theoretical aspects of plant science, in turn promoting the exploration, management, and conservation of nature, natural resources, and biodiversity. It includes scientific research papers, reviews, and general scientific articles by eminent scientists, professors, lecturers, and research students of Central Department of Botany.
