Prospectus
Application for
Ph.D. enrolment is
called every year in
January and July.
The Ph.D. program is
absolutely based on
research, carried
out under the
supervision of
departmental faculty
members. If
required,
co-supervision by
established
botanists in other
institutions in
Nepal and abroad is
arranged. The
Central Department
Research Committee (CDRC)
is responsible for
all activities
related to research.
At present the
department has 30
Ph.D. students
receiving
fellowships from TU,
UGC, NAST, and some
other international
organizations.
